Yuxin Pu is a junior researcher in urban greening and urban planning, currently PhD student working with the research groups Cartography and GIS, BRISPO, and Cosmopolis at VUB.

She holds a MSc degree in Sustainable Urban Planning and Design from KTH Royal Institute of Technology (2023) and a BEng degree in Urban and Rural Planning from Sun Yat-sen University (2020). Her main research interest lies in urban ecology and environmental exposure. As a part of MSCA-DN project "GreeNexUS", her PhD research focuses on assessing the role of urban nature-based solutions and green infrastructure for older adults in the context of climate change, from the perspective of environmental justice and public health.
