Jakob facilitates dia-logue between the most diverse parties, because everyone has the right to participate in im-agining and co-creating their environment. His methodical expertise is set mainly in regional and landscape projects, complex mobility infrastructure and the use of public space. In his projects he connects citizens, experts, local governments, and designers in making our en-vironment future proof.
In his PhD research Jakob investigates how justice can be integrated into mobility planning to accelerate the transition away from car dependency. By developing a framework and dia-logue tools, he seeks to make equity and fairness in mobility planning more tangible and actionable for everyone. By bridging academic insights and real-world cases, the project aims to reduce resistance to mobility projects and foster just cities.
