Anya Diekmann

Anya Diekmann is professor in tourism at the ULB and holds the Chair ‘cultural tourism’. Additionally, she teaches at the University of Mumbai and various Vietnamese universities and has collaborated for many years with the KULeuven. Anya’s research focuses on social and cultural aspects of urban tourism as well as on social tourism with a particular focus on social tourism systems/policies and the benefits of tourism participation on well-being and social inclusion.
