Adriano La Gioia is a PhD Researcher in international political economy within the Finance and Decarbonization chair of the SWIFFT collective, jointly hosted by VUB and ULB. His research explores the macroeconomic and financial obstacles to the ecological transition in the European Union.
He obtained a Master's degree in Economics from ULB and has several years of experience as a political advisor.
He also engages with questions linked to public finance, public debt sustainability and the financing of public investments for the ecological transition at the national level.
