Zou Xuan (Lily) is a PhD student at Cosmopolis, working at the intersection of GIS, urban green spaces, urban health, and environmental justice. Her research focuses on how people access and experience urban green spaces in practice, going beyond conventional measures of accessibility based on physical distance.

With a background in Geography and GIS, Xuan is interested in combining quantitative geospatial approaches with qualitative research to explore people's perceptions, experiences, and relationships with urban nature. Through this interdisciplinary approach, she aims to better understand inequalities in urban environments and support more inclusive, evidence-based urban planning.
