Liese Van Holen (°2002) is a PhD researcher at the department 'Architectural Engineering' (ARCH) and the department 'Mechanics of Materials and Constructions' (MeMC) of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. In her Master's thesis she studied the historic reclamation of materials. With funding from the VUB ARCH and MeMC departments she will further explore reuse of materials, historic building practices and material trajectories.
