Aikaterini Anastasiou is a PhD researcher at the International Centre of Urbanism, Department of Architecture, KU Leuven and the Cosmopolis Centre for Urban Research, Department of Geography, Vrije Universiteit Brussel.

She holds an integrated master’s degree in architecture (University of Thessaly) and a master’s degree in urban studies (Vrije Universiteit Brussel - Université libre de Bruxelles). Her doctoral research focuses on alternative housing initiatives driven by the third sector and their relationship with the right to housing.
