Laurence Claeys is professor of Communication Science studies at the VUB. She is also co-founder and product manager of the IOT company Sensolus who provides smart tracking solutions for supply chain and transport.

Her interest is in Internet-of-Things, low-coding environments, feminism and empowerment. She is also member of Constant vzw, a Brussels organization who combines open (software, platform, hardware, code), art and feminism.
