The Department of Geography of Vrije Universiteit Brussel and Cosmopolis Centre for Urban Research are looking for a full-time professor in socio-spatial aspects of urban design and spatial planning.
This position entails teaching in the domain of housing, in design studio’s focused on socio-spatial issues and in socio-spatial research methods. The research should apply the most recent methods in spatial-ethnographic research, in participation and/or in the mapping of the use and appropriation of space, with a focus on residential environments and/or public space.
