For the past year, PhD researchers Charlotte van Vessem and Juliana Betancur Arenas at Mobilise (VUB) have been working on a BCUS-funded research project about queer mobilities in Brussels. In this research, they look at where queer people (don’t) go, how they travel and how their mobility patterns interact with their queer identity. They will present their (preliminary) results at their final event on October 22nd, taking place at the 'Grands Carmes', a queer (event) space in the city centre and a partner of the project. Next to a presentation of the study, they will also unveil the visual output that has been created by a visual harvester during the focus group sessions, as well as the screening of two short movies. There will be food and there’s the possibility to have drinks at the bar later.
This event is open to all. Please indicate your attendance here.
