Adjunct teachers are not hired as regular employees, but will be paid for specific agreed tasks on the basis of invoicing or transfer of fees. These positions, in other words, are well suited for those working as self-employed professional or with a full-time or primary job in another organization.
The VUB-ULB MSc in Urban Studies is interested in expanding its pool of adjunct teachers for various positions within its substantially reformed curriculum: from guest lecturing within existing courses to running site visits/excursions to offering hands-on skills training. Our adjunct teachers complement the existing academic staff by filling specific needs the MSc programme has with expertise from those working primarily in other jobs.
