Anneke Evenepoel received her Master’s degree in Criminological Sciences at the Vrije Universiteit Brusselin 2009. In March 2011, she started as a researcher at the Department of Criminology at the VUB, where she worked on a policy support study financed by the European Commission (together with five other European countries). In January 2013, she started her PHD research concerning the preventive turn in tackling youth problem behaviour in the urban public space. She is also a member of the research group on Crime and Society at the VUB.
